The Gaelo Shop at the Alford Heritage Centre.     Open - Tuesday to Saturday -  10am to 5 pm...or by appointment. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Shop 'phone is 019755  62906. NOTE: Christmas Season 2011. We'll be open from Mondays to Saturdays 10 am to 5.30pm until the end of December. We look forward to seeing you.     Directions: Alford is on the A944 from Aberdeen to Donside and Huntly. (Google Map link will be here soon.) From Aberdeen direction: Pass new Housing Estate on left as you enter Alford onto Main Street; on your left hand side you will pass a Church, then the Vale Hotel, then...an orange painted pet shop at which there is a left trun called MART ROAD.Turn left there. The Alford Heritage Centre is the large green building on your right hand side, about 200 yards after the turn. From Huntly/Donside direction: You will enter Alford, and onto Main Street at the zebra crossing; on your right hand side you will see Lloyd's TSB Bank, then Royal Bank of Scotland, and, about 200yds beyond that a turning to your right which is MART ROAD...turn tight there and the Alford Heritage Centre is the large green painted building on your right, about 200yds after your turn.
